Hi guys! Okay, so many questions about this new product and why I signed on to do it!
First, let me start with a little back story. I started off with intense meal prepping where I carried around little bags or plastic containers containing different sources of complex carbs & proteins and would eat every 2-3 hours. Rather it be warmed up or not. ( steak / chicken / sweet potatoes ) – I would also be doing at least 30 mins of cardio on my treadmill about 3 times a week. It was working. It really was. I was losing and feeling better. Just not 100% satisfied.
So, after feeling a little let down ( because I feel that’s what we do in our minds ) we all are so use to instant gratification anymore. We want to stream the movie right from home. We want the shirt delivered overnight. We want the fat to burn off quick! Now I was in ” victim ” mode as I like to call it. I wanted sympathy.
Victim mode is when you are pissed that you can’t lose weight quick enough so you call every friend in your phone until one decides to eat Mexican food and margaritas with you until your sick.
Once again, instant gratification right? Bloated & disappointed.. I found myself at home on the couch watching housewives feeling mad at the world that I wasn’t reaching my goals. Listen, if you can help it. Don’t fall into Victim mode. Try mediation. 5 mins a day. Sit down somewhere alone and every time you start to think of something negative. Focus in on your breathing. In through the nose & out the mouth. Once you start to realize you can control these negative thoughts just from focusing on breathing. Your day to day tasks become a piece of cake ( pun intended ) and victim mode is dead.
Before I mastered my meditations. I fell into the category of not eating hardly anything at all. I was rebelling. I thought.. ” okay body, you wanna play this game.. I just won’t eat at all ” – let’s just stop this section now and TRUST me when I say. BAD IDEA. Didn’t last long. Through more and more meditation and exercise I realized I needed the damn food. I needed the energy.
